I’m afraid the blog is rather heavy on advertising this week. I have two shows on this month, so my mind has been completely taken over by all the prep work: hand-finishing the badges, magnets, and gift tags; designing signs; safely ensconcing greeting cards in cello bags (including hot-off-the-press sets of the Nature’s Rainbow collection); and, yes, advertising. So let me get down to it …
The first of the shows is local, with a Craft Fayre being held on 24 June at the Pewsham Community Centre in Chippenham. This is a great opportunity to see what’s being made in the community and have the chance to win some fantastic prizes. We’ll be there from 10:00am-3:00pm, so if you’re in the area, please drop by.
The second one is an event I always look forward to over the summer: Wood’N’Things Crafts and Cream Teas. This is pretty much what it says on the tin: enjoy crafts and cream teas (and cakes) while supporting local artists and charities. It is held at the home of Paul and Renate (3 Bishops Mead, Cleeve, BS49 4NH) from 29 June until 2 July, and if the weather is good I can’t think of a better way to spend the afternoon than sitting in their lovely garden.
Between now and the 24th, I am also running a special on the wildlife badges and magnets—get them before the price goes up to £3.00. I’ve been putting a lot of time into getting these just right: new packaging that makes them perfect as gifts and even more options to choose from. So check them out in the shop and consider grabbing a deal.
